Iceland currently attracts around 400,000 visitors a year and this is expected to increase to over one million by the year 2015. With top tourist attractions including the Blue Lagoon, situated only 7km from the Iceland MotoPark, the development is ideally placed on the main highway to Reykjavik on the junction to Grindavik and the Iceland MotoPark will become a key tourist attraction. A tourist office will be built in the public concourse between the conference centre / hotel complex and the retail park to showcase other nearby attractions and to provide information to the local and tourism public.
